Are You Paying Too Much For Groceries
You know the government has all kinds of stats to say — how much we spend, how much we save, to how many kids we have. Today, I ran across some stats telling us how much more we are spending on groceries. And guess, what? I’m a statistic.
The USDA released a report called “Food Spending by American Households“. In that report, the average person spends $112.25 per/month. Now, that’s for a single person. I myself, a recent “empty nester” has learn that my groceries bill dropped from $300 per/month to $35 per/week, which is $140 per/month.
