Yahoo Bing The New Search

You heard right, Yahoo and Microsoft signs a 10 year deal. Yahoo will officially be using Bing search platform as its primary search engine. Some are already calling the new Yahoo and Microsoft deal “YABing“. Yahoo search will be powered by Bing (Microsoft) and Yahoo will become the exclusive sales-force for both Yahoo and Microsoft as far as premium ad services. During this 10 year deal Yahoo will focus and invest in revenue stream opportunities and Microsoft will focus and invest in search technologies. Both Yahoo and Microsoft are hoping this deal gives them a fighting chance against Google. Currently, Google provides 70% of all searches done on the Internet.

Yahoo hopes this deal with Microsoft will give their users a different experience as far as search is concerned.
