WordPress 2.7 New Features and A New Look

WordPress 2.7WordPress 2.7 will be released soon and is currently in the BETA phrase.  WordPress 2.7 promises to be not just an update, but a complete rebuild.

The first notable difference  are the vertical menus.  The new vertical menus are compiled by levels.  The top-level will contain those items most commonly used.

The next notable item is the Dashboard.  On feature is per/user.  Now each user has the option to change how they view the dashboard.
