Recent studies show an enriched nut diet along with the Mediterranean dietcan help managing symptoms caused by Metabolic Syndrome. The reports also states diets using nuts may reduce stomach fat and lower blood pressure. Results from the study - 14% of patients with large waistline, high cholesterol, and/or high blood pressure saw a reduction after a year on the nut diet.
