A new site “GovDeals.com” is providing a way for government agencies to auction off items to us the public.  Of course, at a discount.  These items are surplus items or what the government calls’ government liquidation” items.

GovDeals.com participating government agencies each have their own rules and restrictions for their individual auctions.  To date, GovDeals.com has state and local agencies liquidating their surplus items on the site.
