2 second content rules for the end userOne of the best kept Internet Marketing secrets is — the 2 second content rule. Having a high appealing site is great, but if the end user/visitor can’t digest the content within 2 seconds — your conversion rates will be low. Not only will your conversion rates suffer but repeat visitors will be only something that you read about.

Let’s go step by step as an end user. A potential visitor searches your key phrase/word an arrives at your site. The clock has just begun (your 2 seconds). Your web site should load very quickly — 1/2 second at max, because the end user only has 1 1/2 seconds left to see if your content is truly what they are looking for.Great Site content

One mistake would be to use an all flash base site. Although the site may look wonderful — loading time may exceed your 1/2 second. When building a great web site, the site should be built with the end user and the search engines in mind. If you insist on having a flash site, also create an HTML version as well.
