These websites will require personal information that is then stolen and resold.  Other scam popular on Cyber Monday are the email deals.  Make sure your anti-virus software is up to date and that you buy from major retailers or their affiliates.

If your are using a smartphone or tablet to make a Cyber Monday purchase, never use a website that ends in .exe.

Owners of the Kindle and Kindle Fire now have the option to rent books from Amazon.  That’s right, instead of purchasing a book; Amazon will lend it to you.  To use the new Amazon service you have to have an Amazon Prime account and a Kindle device.

Amazon Lending eBooks

The service is just like going to the Library without leaving your home.  Book borrowers can choose from thousand of book title.  There is no fee for the new Kindle Owner’s Lending Library service.  However, here are some things you need to know:

• You can only borrow one book at a time
• You must have an Amazon Prime account (The Amazon Prime account is $79 per/year and entitles you to more premium services from Amazon)
• You must use an Amazon device (Kindle or Kindle Fire)
• The Kindle app on a non-Amazon device doesn’t work with the Kindle Owner’s Lending Library service
• There is no due date for the books you borrow
• There is no fee for the Kindle Owner’s Lending Library service itself

Don’t be shocked the next time you look at your PayPal account, but PayPal just gave its self a raise. Some are calling it double dipping. Double because both the seller and receiver are charge for the same transaction. You can imagine how this will increase PayPal’s revenue.

The only way around the price change is to have a premium or business account with PayPal. The price change only effects personal account holders who in the past were not charge to receive payments. The new imposed charge for personal account are 2.9% + 30 cents to receive payment.

You heard right, Yahoo and Microsoft signs a 10 year deal. Yahoo will officially be using Bing search platform as its primary search engine. Some are already calling the new Yahoo and Microsoft deal “YABing“. Yahoo search will be powered by Bing (Microsoft) and Yahoo will become the exclusive sales-force for both Yahoo and Microsoft as far as premium ad services. During this 10 year deal Yahoo will focus and invest in revenue stream opportunities and Microsoft will focus and invest in search technologies. Both Yahoo and Microsoft are hoping this deal gives them a fighting chance against Google. Currently, Google provides 70% of all searches done on the Internet.

Yahoo hopes this deal with Microsoft will give their users a different experience as far as search is concerned.

There’s a new Blackberry hitting the scene later this summer. Its name is Blackberry Tour 9630. The New Tour Blackberry model is a CDMA. Avaliable carrier plans can be found through Sprint and Verizon. The Tour Blackberry is expected to cost $199 after a rebate of $150. However, to get the rebate you will need to sign-up for a two year contract.

The new Tour Blackberry is promising to have every feature you love about Blackberry — plus more. In brief Tour feature description, your will be able to surf the web, stream videos, and download music at fast 3G speed. Tour 9630 also allows you to go global. Tour enables calling and text features in over 200 countries, and allows email and browser connection in over 175 destinations.

Again the Blackberry Tour 9630 is expected to be released later this summer.

If you click the link within this email it will take you to a false Facebook site called fbaction.net. Once the false Facebook site gets your login information it has access to your Facebook account, and will begin sending messages from your Facebook account to your Facebook friends.
