Whether you are a comic fan on not  may be the movie for you. Created for the fun graphic novel this is a must see. Watchmen is a rated R film and was released back on Mar 6, 2009. The film is 161 minutes long and falls into the Action/Adventure, Drama category. Gang the popcorn — This is a must see.

You can’t beat the cast in the film “The International”.  cast line up includes Tom Tykwer, Clive Owen, Naomi Watts and Armin Mueller-Stahl. The plot of the film — An Interpol agent attempts to expose a high-profile financial institutions … Did I say too much. Watch the movie for yourself.

Here we go, this is my tip top pick for “hot movies on demand” for August — . Obsessed features Idris Eliba (a rising star, he is excellent) and Beyonce Knowles. I would get the plot away, but some have compared Obsessed to the new fatal attraction. You be the judge.

Do you remember Iron Man? It was released in 2008 starring Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow and Terrence Howard. It now time for the sequel — Iron Man 2, however Terrence Howard is reported to be replaced by Don Cheadle. According to the word on the streets Terrence Howard disputed his salary. He has been quoted saying “Only Robert Downey Jr. was paid well”.

Did you know — Watchmen was a DC comic book series (12 issues from 1986-1987). The original Watchmen story was submitted by Alan Moore as an alternate history of the United State in a nuclear crisis with the Soviet Union.

Here are the Main Characters Along With the Actors Who Will Play Them In the Watchmen Movie (character back story included)

Nite Owl II (played by Patrick Wilson)

Dan Dreiberg is Nite Owl II who grab the reigns after Hollis Mason (Nite Owl) retired. Born to a rich banker, Dreiberg used his inheritance to purchase his owl gadgets and flying vehicle “Archie”. For more of the back story go to Nite Owl II

Doctor Manhattan (played by Billy Crudup)

Dr. Manhattan is Jon Osterman, son of a watchmen. After attend Princeton, works as a atomic physics when he is expose to radiant light and declared dead. For more of the back story go to Doctor Manhattan

Rorschach (played by Jackie Earle Haley)

Silk Spectre II(played by Malin Akerman)

There are some differences in the Watchmen Movie and the Watchmen Comic Book

1. Nite Owl did not watch Rorschach be killed by Ozymandias.
2. Laurie flashback — where she drops a snow globe is missing in the movie.
3. Nite Owl and Rorschach crash in Antarctica and then ride to Adrian Veidt, however is the movie they walk.

I love Tyler Perry along with the messages behind his movies and plays. However, I didn’t like the ending of “Madea Goes To Jail“. Out of all Tyler Perry’s movies their are two that didn’t do it for me. “Madea Goes To Jail” because of the ending, and “Why Did I get Marry” because the actors didn’t deliver.

However, I’m still a big Tyler Perry fan and will be going to see his new play “Marriage Counselor“. What is you favorite Tyler Perry movie or play?
