Cap And Trade Vote Results Are In
The heavily debate bill “Cap and Trade” has passed the United States House of Represenative. The vote results are 219 (for) 211 (against). The Cap and Trade bill only needed 218 vost to pass the United State House of Representatives. The next step for the Cap and Trade bill is the United States Senate.
What’s In the Cap and Trade Bill
The Cap and Trade bill is over 1500 pages long. In short, the Cap and Trade is 1200 pages with 300 pages of amendments. The Cap and Trade bill is a bill that promises grenn energy revolution in America. The cap in other words means government will impsed limits on carbon emission. The trade part of the bill means the government will created a market to buy and seel greenhouse credits. The Cap and Trade is not a loan from the American people that will be paid back. The Cap and Trade legistation is a tax.
