  1. USA Chicago
  2. Japan Tokyo
  3. Brazil Rio De Janeiro
  4. Spain Madrid

Two cities are pushing forward as the hot favorites to host the 2016 Olympics, Chicago and Rio De Janeiro. Obama is making a pitch for Chicago by going Copenhagen. This is the first time a sitting President has made such a move.

Chicago estimated cost to host the 2016 Olympic games come in at $4.8 billion, but would generate a potential $22.5 billion. That’s a $17.7 billion dollar profit.
